Called to order at 8:05 pm

The minutes of meeting 1575 were accepted as 'capture complete'
the Treasurer reported that nothing has changed =
regular total is $15,632.83; party total is $230.58
the VP had nothing fannish to report
the President was not present
ANNOUNCEMENTS:

REVIEWS:
Patty reviewed a Canadian group doing a fundraiser for Child's Play as doing a good job to help out kids, they are a lot of fun, more info at = desertbus.org
Gayle reviewed Or-e-con which was online this year as she spent a lot of time in the filk room & enjoyed all the singing and songs; Lisa followed & attended several panels & the filking - enjoying both & it was good to see people - that they had 4 tracks of programming & switching between them was easy; Craig commented that the pre-con meeting 3 weeks before-con was not happy, so he is really glad that the convention worked out well since he was unable to attend himself
Gayle also reviewed Sprouts roasted deli chicken as recommended
I reviewed having no internet connectivity for 24 hours as very boring
John O reviewed 2003's 'Haunted Mansion' as a fun movie with a story line on rails & some silly parts, worth matinee & reviewed the Space X manned launch as interesting to hear the launch on his earbuds & relying on audio let him hear how excited everyone's voices were & it was marvellous
Craig followed that he is so proud that his son is writing some of the code that Space X uses; Howeird commented that he is astonished by how precise all of the landings have been; Lisa has NASA on her Youtube alerts & she really likes getting information that way - especially since NASA feed is about the science
Howeird reviewed getting older as it means having to endure the presents of his siblings - practical plants from one sister & gentle teasing from the other - plus he has to buy his own birthday cake & a free frap from Starbucks - all in all a very nice birthday

and the rumor of the week = 'SpaceX keeps dragon on'
