REVIEWS:
Gayle reviewed a virtual tour of JPL as it had a Morse code reference & reviewed LosCon as there were panels, some of which you can still see online & some amusing anecdotes; Fred followed, saying it was interesting & Lisa said the Youtube panels she saw as worth searching for & that the virtual party on Facebook was not done well, the sound was bad and there was a lot of interference & not too pleasant
Lisa also reviewed a 'festival of the living room' as a filking event & a wonderful way to watch a lot of filkers from all over the world - mostly done by a lot of decent singers & quite enjoyable - and the next one will be held in January & information about it can be found on Facebook
Lynn Gold reviewed the new Borat movie as she recommends it highly, Sandra followed saying that he enjoys 'taking the Mickey out of Republicans, that's for sure'
Sandra reviewed a PC game, 'Death Stranding' which won PC Game of the Year at the 38th Golden Joystick Awards - as a post-apocalyptic game that she has spent an amazing number of hours on. You play a courier travelling between small outposts of humanity & she has enjoyed it quite a lot & finds it fascinating
we adjourned at 8:30 pm in memory of Ben Bova
and the rumor of the week = 'Admiral Byrd was bipolar'
