ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Rick announced that he will be hosting a party this weekend, details to follow
Gail announced that they just saw a video of their grandson walking by himself & was impressed
REVIEWS:
Craig recommended 'Only Murders in the Building' as an interesting series that may only be a one-season show but is entertaining
The secretary reviewed 'Shang-Chi' as quite well produced, acted and decently written, worth full price, Trey also saw the movie but was under-whelmed & rated it as worth matinee
Gerry reviewed a retrospective of film Director Robert Wise who directed 'The Day the Earth Stood Still', 'Star Trek the Motion Picture', 'The Andromeda Strain' and many more that he found well made and recommends; Howeird commented that the 'Andromeda Strain' as a perfect pandemic movie
Howeird reviewed getting 3 crowns done in 2 weeks was quite an experience and the most difficult part was getting the old teeth removed & he reviewed that his on-the-job training has been interesting, but a bit frustrating and overall fun so far
Rick reviewed 'What If' as Marvel Universe stories that have all been quite good & worth the time to view & also reviewed the 2nd season of 'Star Trek Lower Decks' as pretty good and maybe worth your time, whereas Howeird feels that 'Lower Decks' is way too violent and not a thematic part of the rest of Star Trek universe; while Craig commented that 'Lower Deck' shows true love for the Star Trek genre and, while it is violent is still quite good
we adjourned at 8:28 pm
and the rumor of the week = 'It's a long trek to get to lower decks
