the proxy Treasurer report is that we have money =
Regular: $15,737.77; Party: $230.58

the VP had nothing fannish to report
the President had nothing fannish to report
Gerry reported that our old Black Bear Diner has closed off the meeting room & removed the 6-ounce sirloin from its menu
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Lisa announced that Betty White died & Ken followed that there is an on-going suggestion that donations to animal shelters be made to them in Betty's name
Harold announced that the Zeldathon marathon is over & raised a bit more than $170,000 in their fund raiser, more info can be found at: zeldathon.com
REVIEWS:
The secretary reviewed 'Spiderman: Far From Home' as very good, worth full price and seeing twice
Rick reviewed a Norwegian TV series "Beforeigners", that just completed its second season as 'appealingly weird, SFnal social commentary slyly concealed as a police procedural'. Currently on HBO Max.
Alan reviewed the Dr Who Daleks episode 'Eve of the Daleks' as Daleks are his favorite Dr Who villain & he thinks they were handled well & it was excellent - & Ken agreed that it was a really fun episode & Rick also highly approved of the episode. Lisa loves good time travel stories & this one nailed it & really a great deal of fun.
Lisa reviewed 'Around the World in 80 Days' on TBS with David Tennant, episode one as the character names are the same, but that's about it & that it involves a bet, that it's interesting to watch and she looks forward to the next episode. Ken followed, saying that all 8 episodes have just been released & he definitely recommends it.
Yochanan reviewed the movie 'My Hero Academia: Two Heroes' as he watched & liked it
we adjourned at 8:22 pm
and the rumor of the week = 'Betty White grabbed 2021 by the throat and leapt into Mount Doom with it to save us all'
