Secretary = The minutes of meeting 1642 were accepted as: Putt'n things in their place.
Treasurer = Regular: $15,737.77; Party: $230.58
Money can be sent to salve guilt via PayPal - sent to = dwgallaher@gmail.com
Vice President = Nothing Fannish to report.
President = Not present.
Committees: Brief update from the relocation committee = The Sports Page, Mt. View. Limited Menu, attracts a rougher crowd? Outdoor space, might not be weather appropriate (gets windy there).
Double D’s, Los Gatos apparently has a meeting space, will need to investigate
Brief update from the Sports Committee = SJGiants Saturday, July 30 Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond Night (evening game, 6pm) It’ll be the same Party Patio (along the first base line), $70/person. Buffet meal, 2 drinks tickets, unlimited water soda and snax.
New Business: No new business.
Announcements:
Lisa = ConSonnance is happening March 25-27 at Sonesta Hotel in Milpitas. Pre-reg is still happening, need to get room nights by 3/10. consonance.org Vaccinations required, masks required indoors (and storngly encouraged while performing).
Yochanan = Ohana Toy-Anime-Comic Con Fremont Sunday March 6 11 am to 4:00 pm
Howierd = Tomorrow is March Fools Day and Mardi-gras. He has beads left over from his last trip to New Orleans
Gayle = Friday she and Gerold Will be in the Twin Cities 4-14 March for Marscon: https://marscon.org/2022/ & will zoom next Monday, but might be still traveling on the 14th.
also = MarsCon 2022, “The future ain’t what it used to be”. March 11 - 13, 2022

Lisa Gallifrey1. Doctor Who convention. Smaller attendance to reduce crowding. Jo Martin (Fugitive Doctor) Mandip Gil (Yaz) were there. Fun con. Took COVID tests before and after, and they were negative. If protocols are followed, things seem to be safe.
Yochanan = Went (for less than an hour) Art Sale show (billed as a fannish event) Prints and Oils by Christopher Clarke who was there. Cosplay with pride was present. Worth full price (free!).
Lisa went on Sunday. Not oils, but print on canvas. Only Darth Vader was there on Sunday. Thought it would have been more an exhibit, not a sale.
LoR meeting: Eve of the Daleks and Evil of the Daleks. Great. Had wonderful time. Eve was a pretty good episode. Secondary characters were good, Evil was even better.
Gerald = Star Trek Original Series episode about an actor with a dark past. The Conscience of the King. Well done, deep for Star Trek and maybe one of Shatner's better acting jobs. Uhura sings, too!
