Reviews
Yochanan: Convention: Fanime (Thu-Mon) Attended on Saturday and Sunday for a few hours. Got full weekend pass was economical for the two days. So many people, especially Saturday. No swap meet this year, or masquerade, and no Anime viewing room!!! Interesting panels. May have felt more crowded because there were no viewing rooms. May not have been worth the full $95 (possibly worth pre-reg price).
Lisa: Harold and her also went (also on full weekend memberships, though she only went Sat) disappointed that there was no screening. Artist alley was exceedingly crowded. Panel selection was thin (and disappointed with the one she went to). Still enjoyed, may not have been worth $95 (though Harold may have got more). Glad for early reg on Thursday. They were really good about checking vaccination status.
Howierd: Night Sky: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13361448/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 There are portals around the world where you can see other planet’s night skies. Has been binging it the past day or so and still not done. Acting is pretty done, but some sketchy characters. May do a full review when he’s done, but not sure where that’s going to be.
Gayle: Most of the weekend at Balticon 56. Some programs were booked against ones she wanted to see. https://www.youtube.com/c/BaltimoreSciFi/videos Hopefully they’ll appear on their YouTube channel. Paltry info on how to access the programs through the virtual membership.
