the proxy Treasurer report is that we have money: Regular: $15,748.81; Party: $230.58

Committees= Rinse & repeating from the Sports Committee:
2 weeks to go until the SJGiants game on Saturday, July 30 Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond Night (evening game, 6pm) It’ll be the same Party Patio (along the first base line), $70/person. Buffet meal, 2 drinks tickets, unlimited water soda and snax. Send inquiries or PayPal to basfa@p4tt.com

Howeird announced that for the first time in 100 days they had a trace of rain in Las Vegas
Yochanan announced that 'the Umbrella Academy' is back on Netflix for season 3 & announced that the USS Hornet is having a special event on July 23, from 10am till 5pm, the 'Apollo 11 Splashdown/Space Exploration Event'; for more info check = https://uss-hornet.org/
Ken announced that this Friday is the 4th Friday of the month, so there will be a meeting of the Legion of Rasselon live in person at the Dennie's on Bascom in Milpitas on Abbott Rd, near the 880 freeway, at 7:30pm - wear a mask - for more info check their Facebook page; check lor.club
Robin announced that a singer, Carla Ulbrich, is having a concert - along with Trout Fishing in America - this Friday, July 22. It's a $4.99 paid event, starting at 7:30 Eastern daylight time [4:30 this time] which is livestreamed on her Facebook page, Youtube & Twitch; for more info check http://www.carlau.com
REVIEWS:
Lisa reviewed that having a heart attack is not fun, but she is glad to be alive & she was at the best location in Silicon Valley to be treated at - the Kaiser hospital in Santa Clara - & she reports that she is recovering well, then there were various health follow-ons & advice
Yochanan reviewed the last 2 episodes of season 4 'Stranger Things' as it was good, that it ends - but leaves room for further stories
and he reviewed 'Thor - Love & Thunder' as a big movie, with a lot of humor in it - perhaps a bit too much - & overall it was decent & worth matinee or even full price; Kennita saw it in 3D & thought it was a good movie, not a great movie, but worth seeing; Howeird also saw it & enjoyed Natalie Portman's performance; Trey saw it & did not enjoy it as much as the movies that preceded it & felt it verged into caricature
Howeird reviewed 'Needle in a Time Stack' as very well done & fascinating. He really enjoyed the movie - & Yochanan followed, saying he also enjoyed the movie
