Voice actor Kevin Conroy (Batman TAS) recently passed away of intestinal cancer, age 66

Gerald - Panel, 8pm possibly Sat at Los Con in remembrance of Greg.
Ken = Legion of Rassilon meeting this Friday at 7:30 at the Denny’s in Milpitas on Abbot Road, just off Calaveras at 880. This month we start the second Doctor serial The Abominable Snowmen. lor.club

Yochanan = Enola Holmes 2 (Netflix) Sequel about Sherlock’s younger sister. Rare sequel that was just as good, if not better, than the first. Stars Millie Bobby Brown, with Henry Cavill as her brother. Fun, thoughtful, enjoyable. Non-linear, 4th-wall breaking. Full Price. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enola_Holmes_2
Discovering Jewish Science Fiction by our very own Valerie Frankel. Short version of a longer work in progress. Covers TV, movies and books. Great book, but would like to read the larger one. amazon.com/Discovering-Jewish-Science-Fiction-Influences-ebook/dp/B0B8ZP2Z9Y
The Interview with a Vampire (AMC+) 6 or 7 episodes. Set in contemporary. Louis is now a mixed-race, gay, vampire. Is a followup to the original set in the ‘80s. Looks like there may be a second series.
Gerald: Is a member of Second Foundation (MN lit SF group rivendellergroup.com/similar-groups/second-foundation/) read a book called Cat Pictures Please and Other Stories, by Naomi Kritzer. Starts with the sentence “I don’t want to be evil…” 1st person about a computer program that has a thing for cat pictures. Not hard SF. Mostly light, with some serious thoughts. Gayle - Amusing and thought provoking. Was Hugo nommed.
