the Treasurer reported that we have money: Regular: $15,805.32; Party: $230.58

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Gerry announced that he thinks there are some Space X launches tonight & Craig says the Space X Falcon 9 will launch in about 90 minutes
The SpaceX team is targeting two launches tonight, Monday, January 9th:
OneWeb Launch 16 Mission = 8:50 p.m. PT (04:50 UTC on January 10); Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Watch live coverage here starting at ~ 8:35p.m. PT.
Lisa announced that Earl Grey is successfully home & feeling better & she announced that she found her misplaced knitting needles
Gayle announced that today is her birthday

Rick reviewed 'VR.5'. He found it in archive.org - a 13 episode TV show from 1995 about virtual reality, very X-Files-like. Rick recommends it - check: https://archive.org/details/VR.5TVSeries
& he reviewed 'Artemis' by Andy Weir as a well thought out rip-roaring read that does not require rescuing Matt Damon as he recommends it
Yochanan reviewed 'Kindred' - a show based on an Octavia Butler time travel story that he found on Hulu. He thinks it's a really wonderful show & the 8 episodes have a cliffhanger ending. Recommended. Some discussion followed
