Reviews
Lisa = Went to FurtherConfusion – aka FurCon. Great fun. Saw the two performance nights, including an operatic singer in a full fur-suit! Bought stuff. Helped the party committee with heir parties. Will go again next year.
Yochanan = M3GAN (movie) Thriller. Wasn’t great, but not bad. Interesting. Homicidal AI doll. PG-13, so not gratuitous. Worth at least matinee.
and he reviewed = Glass Onion (Netflix) Loved the first one more than this one. Pandemic is acknowledged. Some good humor. Was a little over the top. Great cameo.
Ric: Liked this more than the first. The Christie trope going off differently. Puzzle flick done right.
Lisa: They had far too much fun with this one.
Ken: Janelle Monae kills it.
Rick = Battleship (2012) was the most amiably incompetent movie to be made from a Hasbro game so far. Good news! Rhianna can act. Bad news! Nobody else tries very hard. Liam Neeson scowls well. The final battle is quite fun. You can see that 10 min. clip on YouTube. There are at least half a dozen good jokes.
Ken: We followed Glass Onion the next week by See How They Run. Fun little murder mystery set at a performance of The Mousetrap, involving various parties that have an interest in seeing the play either continue of close.
Rumor of the Week: BASFA is a Glass Onion
