REVIEWS:

Gerry reviewed a book, 'Station Eleven' by Emily St. John Mandel - a post-apocalyptic genre novel that he mostly enjoyed, although it ends rather abruptly. The book has also been made into a short series = Station Eleven, 2021 & 2022 - HBO Max

Yochanan reviewed '65' - a movie set 65 million years ago on Earth, starring Adam Driver. He says the plot was mediocre, with even the dinosaurs looking very generic. The aliens in the movie looking exactly like humans & had very human-looking tech - worth matinee
& he reviewed a Disney Plus show called 'Flora & Ulysses' as a show with fannish overtones. It's for kids, but it's very good and he really loves it - highly recommended

Rick reviewed the SyFy channel's series '12 Monkeys' as being sensationally good & as the 4 seasons go on, it keeps getting better. Yochanan followed, agreeing that it is a great series
Rick also reviewed 'ST Picard' season 3 as continuing to get even better as the season goes on & recommends this season highly. Yochanan agrees, saying that 'ST Picard' is so very good & even the 'ready room' after-show segments are fun to watch

we adjourned at 8:33pm

and the rumor of the week was = 'An atmospheric river runs through us'
