The minutes of meeting 1701 were accepted as 'Not done under pressure'
the proxy Treasurer report is that we have money: Regular: $15,805.32; Party: $230.58
Money can be sent to salve guilt via Paypal - sent to = dwgallaher@gmail.com
the VP had nothing fannish to report & that he has not posted the new Zoom hyperlink to the Meet-up group yet
There was some discussion - over how to do recruitment over suffering Zoom bombers
the President had nothing fannish to report other than thanking Ken for arranging the new Zoom link
There was a Site Selection committee report from Clockwork Alchemy wherein Gerry spoke with a representative from the Odd Fellows who have meeting rooms available, but they are not an eating establishment & fees were not spoken of
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Lisa announced that Costume Con 39 is being held April 21-24 & for more info check = https://costumecon39.org/ - and masks are required at all times, except when on stage or eating & vaccine cards are required & the program guide is now online
Gerry announced that the starship launch is postponed until Wednesday morning; for more info check =

Yochanan announced that there's a free Star Wars art event at the Santa Clara Convention center April 28-30

Gerry reviewed the postponed launch attempt of the starship as it had a valve pressure problem, so the launch has been postponed

Duncan reviewed a 30 episode series called 'Three Body' as he highly recommends it - check = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt20242042/ & there is allegedly an animated show that he heard of but cannot give more information about; Gayle follow-on'd, asking about the political bent of the show, which was not known

Yochanan reviewed a movie on Amazon, 'Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes', Japanese with subtitles that he enjoyed a lot & thinks it is cute & fun

& he also reviewed the current season of Picard as it is amazing. He enjoys the story & highly, highly recommends it. Ken wholeheartedly agrees & also recommends the 'Ready Room' that accompanies it. Rick commented that Worf still has all the best lines. Yochanan also recommends this season's 'Ready Room' commentary
Gayle got in a late review for the showing of the Met Live in HD's 'Der Rosenkavalier' - saying it had a lot of wonderful singing and was lots of fun. It will be shown again this Wednesday at noon & at 6:30pm & she thinks she will attend it again
