Ken announced that this Friday is the 4th Friday of the month, so there will be a meeting of the Legion of Rasselon live in person at the Dennie's on Bascom in Milpitas on Abbott Rd, near the 880 freeway, at 7:30pm - wear a mask - for more info check their Facebook page

Ric announced something sub rosa

Yochanan announced that Disney is cancelling some shows, including 'Willow'

Gayle announced that it is Jerry's birthday today & they went out for dinner. Jerry followed, saying that he had an espresso martini & had never had before just as his sister messaged him about espresso martinis

Candy announced that the Silicon Writer's Authors Group will have a fan table at the Dealer's Room at BayCon & Jerry urges the membership to come by & buy their books

Robin & Fred announced that they will also both be at BayCon

Yochanan reviewed 2 Dr Who graphic novels 'The Only Good Dalek' & The Dalek Project' & rates it as worth full price
& he reviewed 'Sweet Tooth, season 2' on Netflix, 8 episodes long as very enjoyable & highly recommended. He said that there will be a 3rd season; check = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_Tooth_(TV_series)
& he reviewed Trevor Baxendale's novel 'Doctor Who: Deep Time' as a bit dark & the story was compelling but wrapped up too quickly

Sandra reviewed the Stanford David Rumsey Map Center as containing many very interesting maps

Robin reviewed 'That Self-Same Metal' by Britany Williams, as it takes place in the 1600's and includes historical characters, as well as original ones & is the first of a series

Lisa reviewed Brocéliande as it was fun to hear their music in concert again

Rick reviewed the series 'The Nevers' as they turned out to have done a very good job with the full series & it's worth chasing down

The secretary reviewed 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' as a fun movie - easily one of the best Marvel movies in several years

Gayle reviewed a Live From the Met performance of 'Don Giovanni'. She saw it in the theatre & said it had 3 wonderful baritones & 3 wonderful bass singers & was done in modern dress. She enjoyed it highly & recommends both it & the calendar of shows that are put on that way. Duncan followed, saying that if you can't find your city in their list there is a 'Met at Home' option that he recommends
