The minutes of meeting 1722 were accepted as 'preemtively defying an untaken strike vote'
proxy treasurer report is we have money: Regular: $15,805.32; Party: $230.58
Money can be sent to salve guilt via Paypal - sent to = dwgallaher@gmail.com
and the Treasurer is at home & recovering from his surgery
the VP had nothing fannish to report [except for what he posted on Facebook yesterday - which was summed up as:
This is an odd request, but a member of the SF Freedom Band (of which my Jerry and myself do parades with) suffered a brain injury. A friend of his family has both set up a GofundMe & has pledged the profits from his Sci-Fi book 'The Imposed Path: The Gem Keepers Saga' towards his aid. I thought that portion of the fundraising might be of interest to BASFA members. So, if the book is of interest to you, please buy it.

Ken announced that this Friday is the 4th Friday of the month, so there will be a meeting of the Legion of Rasselon live in person at the Dennie's on Bascom in Milpitas on Abbott Rd, near the 880 freeway, at 7:30pm - wear a mask - for more info check their Facebook page
Lisa announced that a friend of hers who is a costumer & writer, Sally C Fink, has 2 new books out that are available on Amazon = 'The Sylvan Cities' [link below; gorgeous book cover IMO]

Ken reviewed the Palo Alto Players new season, starting with 'Matilda the Musical' as the cast is very good, it's a great production & a fun show. Highly recommended. The next show will be Wizard of Oz, the Musical, then Misery. the Musical & followed by Music Man

Rick reviewed the Apple TV+ 'Foundation' series season 2 finale, rating it as 'Oh Boy! Good Stuff!' - and as having many stand out performances & stunning visuals.
