ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Ken announced that this Friday is the 4th Friday of the month, so there will be a meeting of the Legion of Rasselon live in person at the Dennie's on Bascom in Milpitas on Abbott Rd, near the 880 freeway, at 7:30pm - wear a mask - for more info check their Facebook page
Lisa announced that the Hello Kitty pop-up cafe is going to visit the Bay Area, Oct 26 at Santana Row

Yochanan reviewed a book by Tom Decker, 'Time Chain' as a decent book, worth matinee prices

and Yochanan reviewed a TV show called 'Snowpiercer' that has 4 seasons and he rates it as very good. The series ended pretty well & he recommends all 40 episodes.

and Yochanan reviewed a show on Netflix, 'Kaos', a violent comedy about contemporary times interacting with the Greek pantheon. It's 8 episodes & he loved it, worth full price & recommended

Gerry reviewed a movie made in 1955 called 'This Island Earth' as pretty good & enjoyable, considering the standards of the time with a good plot. Lisa commented that it is a true sci fi classic movie & recommends it. Gayle asked where it was found and the answer was it is available online, a free YouTube movie, with commercials. There was some discussion then about early sci fi movies
