Total of 9/4 in attendance
Secretary = The minutes of meeting 1826 were posted online, and were accepted as Shaken not stirred.
Proxy Treasurer's report = Regular: $15,805.32
Party: $230.58
Money can be sent to salve guilt via PayPal - sent to: dwgallaher@gmail.com
Though we have accrued $155.34 since the resumption of live meetings.
and Kennita has not been able to get ahold of the Treasurer to discuss interest bearing accounts.
Vice President = Nothing fannish to report.
President = Not present.
Committees: None.
New Business: None.
Announcements:
Rick: Deidre and he have attained 25 years of marriage.
Gerald: Followed on that it will be 50 years for he and Gayle next May, and they plan to charter a riverboat. If any BASFAns are interested in joining them (in Minnesota). An email will be forthcoming.
Ken: This Friday is the fourth Friday, and time, once again, for the monthly meeting of The Legion of Rassilon. This month, in honor of her return to the series, it’s a Billie Piper double bill with Dalek and New Earth. Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Denny’s in Milpitas, on Abbot Avenue, off Calaveras Boulevard, near 880. lor.club
Reviews
Rick: James Gunn’s series Peacemaker (HBOMax). A minor character turned into a major. Now in it’s second season. Lots of indelible secondary characters. The first season was excellent and different. Worth full price.
Rumor of the Week: We come to praise BASFA, not to bury it in words.
