held at Coco's, 1206 Oakmead Parkway (Lawrence Expressway/101 Fwy), Sunnyvale
Began at 8pm - with the Giants 3 and 5

We established a complex system for a party jar
The minutes of meeting 1288 were accepted as 'double dollar guarantee'
The Treasurer reported that last week we took in $3.75 in the regular jar & $15.25 in the party jar - and has appointed Chuck as assistant auctioneer
The Vice President was missing [week 3]
The President had nothing fannish to report
The Sports Committee reported that we're still sold out of tickets for the BASFA baseball outing for the May 8th Giants game
Announcements:
JC announced that they did a new Nerdvana Podcast and episode 38, part 1 will be out Wednesday, featuring Mo & [tall] Kevin
Chris O & Brad announced that this Sunday Wadaiko Newark will be playing taiko drums at Morgan Hills Hanu Matsure Festival at the Buddhist Community center, April 19, 11 - 5pm & John O announced that Big Wow, a comics Fest will be at the SJ Convention Center this weekend
Adrienne announced that the new season of Orphan Black starts this week
[tall] Kevin announced that Puppygate has attracted the attention of the AP new & announced that Don Eastlake is visiting us
Gerry announced that 'Variations on a Theme' has gone out of business & that Brief Candle has picked up their business
Reviews:
JC reviewed 'Imitation Game' as very good, worth full price
Dave C reviewed a book, 'Resistance' by Samit Basu as it was fun
Mo reviewed the series 'Archer' as highly recommended
John O reviewed Cornell's book 'London Falling' as noir-ish and entertaining & reviewed the 'Game of Thrones' season premiere as they hit the ground running
Bradford reviewed 'Woman in Gold' as recommended
Gerry reviewed Norwescon as a very good con, with especially good writing and science panels and various other folk followed on, mostly agreeing, although [tall] Kevin commented the hotel was small for the convention
[tall] Kevin reviewed gave advice about Hugo nominations & John O thanked him for his efforts
Pat reviewed the Carousel Trilogy by Sharon Lee [Carousel Sun, Tides, Sea] as all were very good
Aatheus reviewed the Hyatt Regency SFO as very hostile to the hotel in-room parties & not worth full price
we did auctions

and the rumor of the week was: 'When you lie down with mad dogs you wake up with rabies'
