Began 8 pm with so many things to do

We established a party vessel
The minutes of meeting 1295 were accepted as 'works for me'
The Treasurer reported that last week we took in $1.60 in the regular jar & $5 in the party basket
The Vice President spoke in past tense & reported that the Garcia twins have touched
The President had nothing fannish to report
The Party Committee reported that there was a well-attended BASFA party at Baycon & the next BASFA party will be held at Convolution - then he showed off a new, shiny vinyl BASFA banner
Announcements:
Andy announced that the latest Humble Bundle is for comics of various sorts
JC announced that Nerdvana Podcast, episode 40, will be out Wednesday & includes Fred for the 1st time
Alex announced that life has been interesting for him these last few weeks & that his wife has been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder
Adrienne announced that she has bookmarks
Chris O announced that she is mostly recovered from her surgery
Brad announced that he has a ticket to the Warriors game on Thursday & announced that the Eaton Conference has been postponed until fall
John O announced that a pair of glasswork artists he likes, Joy & BJ have an Indiegogo fund set up to help them move their business and kitty rescue, it has a couple weeks to get funded and details are at = https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/a-new-art-studio-for-joy-bj-rescue-kitties
Reviews:
Wiscon was reviewed as essentially enjoyable with interesting panels & there was a recommendation to fly there via Oakland
Adrienne reviewed Spokane's convention center as somewhat complex & that she found Spokane to be lovely & green & that she recommends Alaskan Air
John O reviewed episode 8 of Game of Thrones as the fight with giants was great & reviewed 'Mad Max, Fury Road' as boy it was fun and had some weird-ass cars - there were various comments and compliments for both
Dave C reviewed some comics as fun & interesting & reviewed 'Tomorrowland' as he wanted to enjoy it & several 'meh' comments agreed with him
Dave G reviewed Conquest 46, in Kansas City, as a fun & nice little con
Tom reviewed Corflu as an absolutely lovely con & reviewed Brewdog's 'Sink the Bizmark', a freeze-dried ale as a quadruple IPA with 41% alcohol content & is incredibly flavorful - 5 pounds for a tott of it & absolutely worth full price
JC reviewed the Milpitas International BBQ as wonderfully organized, recommended and he had a great time there
