Reviews:
The secretary reviewed 'Warcraft' as fun, with nice griffins and worth matinee - which surprised me - and reviewed 'Xmen Apocalypse' as awful - except for the brief 3 minutes when Quicksilver is on-screen & worth seeing only if there is good popcorn and it's over 90 degrees outside
JC reviewed Father's Day as splendid and his gift of a 'Man Crate' as full of awesome - and he got a great card and has great girls
Bill reviewed 'Jungle Book' as state-of-the-art effects & worth full price & reviewed a shop called 'Rocket Fizz' as selling soda and candy in both Mountain View & Campbell
Carole reviewed celebrating their anniversary as they went on a whale boat and saw sea life
Fred reviewed 'the Emperor's Treasures' at the Asian Art Museum as really, really fabulous & highly recommended
Ric reviewed the Bywater in Los Gatos as having quite good food & reviewed 'Finding Dory' as typical splendid Pizar animation & that there are cookies in the credits
Patty reviewed 'Batboy the musical' as really well done & worth full price
Dave G reviewed a Kansas City Royales game in Kansas City as an experience, he also rode the city trolley - which was free & quite pleasant
Dave C reviewed the first 2 episodes of AMC's 'Preacher' as possibly living up to the standards of its graphic novel origin
we did auctions
we adjourned at 9:08 pm
and the rumor of the week was: 'The Hugo packet is all a-Tingle'
