[evil] Kevin announced that SJ in 2018 still needs the names of folks who will be helping them at the Kansas City Worldcon so that they can get badges made for them

Gayle announced that they may take the train to the KC Worldcon
Reviews:
JC reviewed the new 'Ghostbusters' movie as he enjoyed it a lot & it's worth seeing twice, John O agreed; then JC reviewed a trip to Niagra as it was really green there and a nice trip, although their AT&T special cross-border app sucked
Chris O commented that you can get delayed getting back to the U.S. if you have been visiting internet friends
Yocanan reviewed the Skiffy channel TV show '12 Monkeys' as a pretty decent show & reviewed 'The Last Ship' as having a very good season 1, but season 2 is much less compelling so far
Geri reviewed visiting an outdoor wear outlet shop called 'White Sierra' as a very nice shop; it's in Sunnyvale at 305 Soquel Way
Carole reviewed getting properly-fitted bras at Nordstrom on sale as she saved at least $100 - got excellent service - and thought it worth full price, but even more so with the sale
Dave C reviewed a Charlie Stross 'Laundry' novella, 'Equoid' as a good read and worth full price
we did auctions
we adjourned at 8:47 pm
and the rumor of the week was: 'Do you mind? We're trying to SMOF over here!'
