Called to order at 8 pm - with a dynasty of puns

we established a party jar
The minutes of meeting 1496 were accepted as 'save a tree, we're running out of paper' - then [tall] Kevin gave the secretary a pad of paper
the Treasurer was missing
the VP had nothing fannish to report
the President had nothing fannish to report
The Sports Committee reported that the May 4th BASFA outing to the SJ Giants Star Wars night game is this weekend
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Ken announced that KFJC's month of Mayhem starts on May 1 & that on May 5 he'll be doing a special Delia Derbyshire themed show there
Dave C announced that there is Gatorade in the auction tonight [and explained why]
[tall] Kevin announced that he is the Chair for the Tonopah totally-not-a-hoax Westercon 74, 2021 bid & he has flyers for distribution & it will be 'the first solar-powered Westercon'
JC announced that director John Singleton has died
REVIEWS:
'Endgame' was reviewed by many & it was epic
Bill reviewed Opera SJ's 'Madame Butterfly' as done adequately & he had a reasonably good time
Howeird reviewed 'Queen of the Mists' by the San Pedro Square Players & enjoyed it - he also reviewed a trip by Amtrak to the Grand Canyon as a very long trip & the Grand Canyon Railroad was 63 miles of the most boring terrain in existence
John O reviewed the latest Game of Thrones as WoW! WTF? Damn! & he reviewed some of his Hugo reading, Kowal's 'Calculating Stars' as incredibly good
Dave C reviewed Stross's latest 'Laundry' book, 'The Labyrinth Index' as a fine read, worth full price
Ken reviewed the season ender for 'Orville' as they knocked it out of the park
We did auctions
we adjourned at 9:33
