MythCon 50! At SDSU. About 130 people. Lots of Tolkien, CS Lewis, Charles Williams discussed. Lots of good discussions. Good bardic circle. Next year in Albuquerque. Fantasy fans come and attend.
Stopped at Paso Robles on the way down, all sorts of new tasting rooms have sprung up.
Stopped at Hearst Castle on the way back, which has lots of new interesting tours to attend. Lots of info on how it came to be, who came to visit and stayed.

High Weirdness: Drugs, Esoterica, and Visionary Experience in the Seventies by Erik Davis. About the cultural things of the visions Robert Anton Wilson, Terrance McKenna & Philip K. Dick. Dense, long and good. Worth taking a look. Doesn’t indulge the visions.
