The minutes of meeting 1579 were accepted as 'After the third recount still published.'
the Treasurer was not present, but nothing has changed =
regular total is $15,632.83; party total is $230.58
the VP had nothing of a fannish variety to report
the President had nothing fannish to report
Craig had nothing to report on the committee on establishing committees
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Lisa announced that there is a PENSFA meeting this weekend, check their website
REVIEWS:
John O reviewed Disney, this one the remake of 'Mulan' as highly recommended & rewatched 'Wall-e' as it still stands up & worth watching
Craig reviewed the 1984 'Flash Gordon' as campy, but just pretty bad; I followed, saying that Brian Blessed was wonderful; Trey considers it campy good; Lisa enjoyed the music & thought it was fun
Jerry reviewed Colbert's 2nd show on his New Zealand trip & it was marvellous & funny & lots of good out takes, broadcast last Friday evening & the bungee jump was really funny; Gayle remembers the 1st show fondly; Lisa recommends checking on Youtube for the show
Valerie reviewed that she has been reading lots of fantasy books, but specifically reviewed Sarah Gailey's 'American Hippo' as delightful, then Gerry followed that there were 33 flowers visible on Valerie's wall
Lisa reviewed attending several zoom concerts over the weekend that were quite wonderful & festive - & did Hanukkah that they called Zoomikah & it was fun, then there was some discussion
we adjourned at 8:27 pm
and the rumor of the week = 'Gypsy Rose Lee had something fannish to report'
