REVIEWS:

The secretary reviewed 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' as a very enjoyable movie that draws on both prior Ghostbuster movies - because the 2016 one happened in a different dimension. I liked how Egon's the effects of single-minded obsession was portrayed & how this damaged those he knew. The kids were great & I loved the fate of Ivo Shandor - worth full price & worth re-watching; Trey followed saying that he enjoyed it although there were some overly-simplistic parts & Yochanan commented that he liked it a lot & Kennita also enjoyed it a great deal & really liked the casting

Rick reviewed the 'Hawkeye' series on Disney as worth seeing if only for Hailee Steinfeld stealing every moment of every scene & Yochanan commented that he liked it a lot & Pat thinks it's worth watching for the fight scenes

Gerry reviewed LosCon as a good convention to attend but he spent a lot of time in the Dealer's Room so didn't get to see many panels & that about 500 people attended live & Gayle says she had a good time

Howeird reviewed a trip to Hoover Dam as very brief & pretty much a total fail due to the tour bus driver having his own agenda & there was no tour of the internal workings of the damn

Yochanan reviewed the latest Dr Who episodes he saw as he enjoyed them & the writing has improved & worth full price & he also reviewed a Hulu series called 'The Great' as not really fannish but 'it's not terrible' & that 'it's not that great but not bad'

we adjourned at 8:38 pm

and the rumor of the week = 'All I want for Christmas is a dreidel'
