REVIEWS:

Sandra reviewed Silicon as very entertaining & she's glad that she attended

Ric reviewed episode 2 of the 'House of the Dragon' on HBO as things burn very well in it & he misses Tyrion. He thinks the show needs more humor, but it continues to be worth watching

The secretary reviewed '3,000 Years of Longing' as a visually stunning movie, with good music that does not blare or drown out the dialogue. Most of the plot is Idris Elba telling stories - and I like that & very much recommend it. Worth full price.

Yochanan reviewed Silicon as he could only attend Saturday. He felt it was nice & worth full price. He also mentioned that the science track mentioned the Artemis launch. Craig followed, pointing out that fan-run & commercial media conventions are very different, but each has something to recommend it
Yochanan also reviewed 'Locke & Key' on Netflix as it is in their 3rd season. He feels that there were some good twists and turns & really loves the series. He highly recommends it

Yochanan also reviewed the rest of the 'Paper Girls' series on Amazon Prime as a great show with indications that there may be another season in the works

John O reviewed the 2022 movie 'Uncharted' as it was being streamed when they were looking for light entertainment. He says they found it to be almost without content, that the plot was on rails with no deviations. He does not recommend it - even on streaming - & rates it as he will never get his 97 minutes back; William followed-on that he enjoyed 'Uncharted' a great deal

William reviewed 'Train to Busan', a 2016 Korean zombie movie set on a train, as the acting was very good with some good plot elements; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_to_Busan
William also reviewed 'Captain America - Civil War' as very immersive & recommends watching it - especially on the large screen of a theater; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_America:_Civil_War
William also reviewed 'Paul Blart Mall Cop' as a movie that he loves & considers it surprisingly good

Robin reviewed that with the Artemis launch in the offing, she downloaded the NASA app & considers it to be quite worthwhile = https://www.nasa.gov/nasaapp/

Howeird reviewed another classic episode of the original Star Trek series, 'Balance of Terror' - wherein they have the first contact with the Romulans as very good; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balance_of_Terror

we adjourned at 8:34 pm

and the rumor of the week was = 'Silicon is better than sand'
