REVIEWS:

Yochanan reviewed a movie 'Suzume' - an animated coming of age movie that he enjoyed a great deal & saw at an AMC theatre. He paid matinee & would have paid full. The movie is shown in either dubbed or subtitled form
for more info check = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16428256/
& he also reviewed the movie 'Renfield', with Nicolas Cage, as a very gory comedy, but done with much good humor. He thought it was a fun popcorn movie & worth matinee
& he also reviewed the season finale for the current season of 'The Mandalorian' as there were some good cameos, but the plot meandered around, leaving the plot flawed

Rick reviewed season 1 of a series called 'Poker Face', showing on Peacock, as a Columbo-like "howdunit" take on murder plots, superb writing and acting, with great cameos, marvelous and delicious plot twists. Natasha Lyonne, recently in 'Russian Doll', stars. The show has already been enthusiastically renewed, has 99% on Tomatometer.

Gerry reviewed the questionably successful launch attempt of the SpaceX starship as it got 34 miles up, did not separate & exploded. He says there was a big hole where the rocket exhaust went. The pad, stage 0, was tested, the rocket, not so much. Most information seems contradictory. Wait for the smoke and dust to clear.
Robin commented that it was a “Unscheduled Disassembly”; Craig commented that it is a typical SpaceX launch; Rick commented that "Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly" is the full, glorious phrase. Duncan commented that this is the 'rocket a day' sort of experimentation that has some scientific validity

Robin reviewed 'Puss In Boots - the Last Wish' as a delightful animated film with a similar to comic book-like art style that highlighted the action sequences nicely. She recommends the film highly & considers it worth full price for the DVD

Lisa reviewed CostumeCon 39 FROM the Dead Dog party, saying there was a good turn out & she had a great time

we adjourned at 8:29pm

and the rumor of the week was = 'Oops!'
