Proxy Treasurer's report, we have money: Regular: $15,805.32; Party: $230.58

the VP had nothing fannish to report
the President had nothing fannish to report, but we did say 'hi' to Phil - a longtime fan & reader of science fiction - visiting us for the first time

Gerry reviewed seeing the operatic version of 'The Handmaid's Tale' presented by the SF Opera and he considered it a riveting performance, although it is 'not a happy opera' & recommends it. Gayle commented that she liked the music & also recommends it. There was some discussion

Phil reviewed a book of short stories called 'Axiomatic' by Greg Egan that he enjoyed reading quite a lot
