Ken announced that 3Below will be screening the documentaries Apollo 11 and For All Mankind tomorrow (August 26) evening at 7 p.m. with Dr. Heather Smith from NASA Ames Research Center as their special guest speaker.

Yochanan announced that from August 23-27 'Ponyo' will be in theatres as part of the Studio Ghibli Fest

Lisa reviewed this season of 'Strange new Worlds' as she enjoyed all the episodes immensely. She recommends the season highly. Yochanan agrees, as does Rick.

Yochanan reviewed the 'Day of the Triffid' by John Wyndham and found it amazing, given being written in the 1950's and he highly recommends it, then watched the 1963 movie and got a 'Dr Who' vibe from it - also finding it fascinating and very watchable. Then he watched the 2-part 2009 adaptation that was not nearly as good

and Yochanan reviewed 'Fantastic 4' as a really good Marvel movie and probably the best Fantastic 4 movie as yet made, with a very good futuristic vibe & worth at least matinee

and Yochanan reviewed 'Time Bandits' as Terry Gilliam at his finest and enjoyed it, then watched the series, as 10, 30-minute episodes. He began to enjoy it by episode 4 and thereafter. He recommends both

Rick reviewed the 'Asimov-esque' Foundation series as he is enjoying it. Not much is from the novels, except as memes and notes they have introduced the 'Mule' character. The writing, acting and fx are good and he enjoys the series very much. Yochanan also spoke up for the series and enjoys watching it & some comments
