The minutes of the last 3 meetings, 1168, 1169 & 1170, were accepted as 'superfluous'
the Treasurer reported that last week we took in $0.00 in the regular jar -- and that at meeting 1169 we took in $0.25
The Vice President reported that there is a new 'Drink Tank' 'upon us' on efanzines.com
The President had nothing fannish to report
The AdHoc Outing Committee had a fun 'Holy Grail' outing at the Retrodome & will be assembling there on Saturday for the
7:30 showing of 'Grease' - and 2 weeks hence 'Raider of the Lost Ark' will be there
Announcements:
[evil] Kevin announced that they are looking for empty green and brown glass bottles
JC announced that the Mayans were wrong and that the hockey lockout is over
Adrienne announced that Bay Area Ghost Hunters is sold out of tickets for the night tour of Alcatraz & that there is an exclusive event at a castle for 15 people - check meetup.com for more information - & announced that the Royal mail is doing the 11 Doctors on official stamps
Chris announced that he's helping with the sf outreach getting started this spring & announced that Lynda says 'hi'
Bradford announced that he has a ticket for the innauguation

Chris reviewed a book, 'The Doctor and the RoughRider' by Mike Resnick as it has literary value and is a fun read & reviewed 'Les Miserables' as Hugh Jackman was hot and he enjoyed it - rated worth 'yes'; JC opined that it was a wonderful movie and worth full price
Adrienne reviewed 'Chicks Dig Timelords' as 'god, it's boring' & reviewed 'Hitchcock' as good
Brad reviewed 'Spiderman 2' as terrible, not even worth seeing & reviewed Katherine Kerr's 'Apocalypse to Go' as fun
