Began at 8pm – anticipating the Superbowl

A party jar was established
The minutes of meeting 1172 were accepted as 'Dave's flaming nuts'
the Treasurer reported that last week we took in an unknown amount
The Vice President commented that he was besmirched & then reported that there are no new 'Drink Tanks' out yet – but that he has put out 2 podcasts – search for 'Chris Garcia podcasts'
The President had nothing fannish to report
The Website committee reported that the website has been updated and that Josh is now a member of this committee
The Sports Committee reports that tickets are going on sale tomorrow and he will get a group's worth for the May 10th Giants game
Announcements:
Mike announced that 'A History of Children's Art' is incredible at the Los Gastos Art Museum & will be there until Feb 27 & he announced that Harry's Hofsbrau has excellent hot dogs
[tall] Kevin announced that Hugo nomination nights will be Jan 28, Feb 11 and Feb 18
Chris announced that he and Lynda are making a documentary about 5 conventions
Ken announced that the Legion of Rassilon meeting is this Friday, 7:30 at 1st & Trimble at the Carl's Jr

Mike reviewed that Harry's Hofsbrau has excellent hot dogs
Chris reviewed that a Portlandia episode made him cry after burbling on about ... stuff
Howeird reviewed the Castello di Amorosa winery as he visited it about 10 years ago and it sounds like it hasn't changed & reviewed Jenny Lawson's blog as very funny & reviewed Jenny Lawson's book 'Let's Pretend this Never Happened' as he's done a review for it for Chris and it's worth paperback – not as funny as her blog - and he also reviewed the Inauguration as check out Michelle Obama's coat
JC reviewed 'Argo' as he now understands why Affleck did so well at the Golden Globes - worth full price, highly recommeded & also reviewed 'King of Nerds' as entertaining
Lisa reviewed the Retrodome 'Raiders' quote-a-long as it was fun & reviewed BASFA's party at Furcon as very well done - there were many follow-on's that praised the party & Aatheus
Adrienne reviewed the latest season of 'Being Human' as she likes the way the cast changes were handled & the American version has more humor in it
[tall] Kevin reviewed helping with the Retrodome tear-down as he now has sore muscles from it
Dave C reviewed the Sonoma Chicken Coop's jambalaya as made of mac and cheese and chicken and shrimp and just wrong
