Reviews:
I reviewed getting my desktop computer upgraded as worth full price - but make sure you have a good techie friend to help - and know what you want to buy for the job before going to Frys & I reviewed Coco's dark chocolate
chipendipity pie was wonderful, have it served hot
[tall] Kevin wishes there was a Fry's in Reno & reviewed SMOFcon as it was warm in Toronto & Cheryl was able to go to Canada - & gave him paws and a hat - in which he looked ADORABLE(!) [Chris 'he is Chief Running Gag'] & then he said SMOFcon was in too small a space in a huge hotel & his videos suffered from the dim lighting conditions & that he -won- the probability and statistics tournament - and was overall worth the trip; then he reviewed Toronto as the Winchester Mystery city, always under construction - and he commented there was no death march to sushi
Chris reviewed 'Inside Llewyn Davis' as the second slowest movie he has ever seen - & the *first* is 'Invisible Woman' as a 'six and a half hour movie crammed into 90 minutes' & he reviewed 'Community' as the best show in the history of TV & reviewed Bradford as a great human being
Adrienne reviewed 'Saving Nr Banks' as enjoyable - and there were several positive follow-ons
Yochanan reviewed 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' as he really loved it & reviewed 'Almost Human' as really good & he likes Karl Urban - and Trey agreed
Lisa reviewed a book - "The Art of Frozen' as really, really nice
Bill reviewed air travel in the cold weather as slightly delayed going out - -very- delayed coming back & reviewed the Palm Springs WWII Air Museum as interesting
Andy reviewed 'Sherlock' as well-served by having 3 episodes - but leaves you wanting more & definitely worth cheating the embargo to see & reviewed 'An Adventure in Space & Time' - a Dr Who documentary - as worth seeing and very good & [evil] Kevin really liked it, it made him cry
Tom reviewed Paso Robles as really, REALLY dry and they have wine and wineries, but maybe not for much longer if it stays so scary dry
Brad reviewed 'Transparent Society' by David Brin as obscure & reviewed a Turner classic film - 'Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde' as it had totally miscast actors in it - & Mo says she likes the movie
then we did auctions
we adjourned at 9:41 pm
and the rumor of the week was: 'show me on the cow where the alien touched you'
