Reviews:
Lisa reviewed FurCon as being a lot of fun - with good science panels & good gaming design information there - she enjoyed it - and there were some follow-ons
Brad reviewed having given a panel talk some time back and now he found a book called 'The Cave & the Lion' based on the same idea
Tom reviewed a book - 'Touched by an Alien' by Gini Koch as silly but enjoyable & also reviewed a fanzine, 'Trapdoor' by Robert Lichtman, as the writing is awesome & it's available on efanzines.com
Bill reviewed 'The Year's Best SF', edited by Dozois as it didn't fit in his bag - but still a good read and worth reading
Carole reviewed her new handmade coat as worth the effort
Beth reviewed Lynda as a pie maker extraordinaire - and that the banana-toffee pie she made was so very good
Adrienne reviewed Oscar contenders - 'Despicable Me 2' as cute, worth cable & Carole agreed that it ws enjoyable
JC reviewed playing 'Dalmuti' as it's even better when played with a full group, hats and the right chairs
Mo reviewed shopping at Safeway as the decorated cake was lonely after the 49ers lost
Josh reviewed Gregorie as he has poutine on the menu & that taking the toppings off it and putting them on the potato puffs was worth way more than full price
then we did auctions - tasty, tasty auctions
we adjourned at 9:12 pm
and the rumor of the week was: 'none of my pots have latches'
