held at Coco's, 1206 Oakmead Parkway (Lawrence Expressway/101 Fwy), Sunnyvale
Began at 8 - with our attention taxed

A party jar was established
The minutes of meeting 1236 were accepted as 'succinct'
The Treasurer was absent
There was no Vice President
The President said 'hi' to Ryan, visiting us for the first time, but otherwise had nothing fannish to report
The Party Committee reported that there will be NO BASFA party at Baycon is no one volunteers to host it & that there WILL be a BASFA party this weekend on Saturday at the BronyCon in the Burlingame Hyatt
Announcements:
Beth announced that JC says 'hi' and that the last part of the 'Geek Wars' Nerdvana podcast will be released this Wednesday & announced that they will be recording Nerdvana podcast at Kepler's this weekend, interviewing Emily Jiang
Reviews:
I reviewed 'Captain America - Winter Soldier' and enjoyed the heck out of it - thought it worth full price and that the 3D was nicely done; Trey followed, saying it was well-paced ['on your left' = Chuck]
Adrienne reviewed 'Occulus' as mostly enjoyable, albeit creepy and worth seeing
Bradley reviewed 'Divergent' as 'Hunger Games light' and worth matinee
Ken reviewed going to the Computer History Museum as Chris was busy, but it was fun taking out-of-towners thru the museum
and he reviewed Beach Blanket Babylon in SF as really enjoyable and worth seeing again - great fun- and that the North Beach restaurant had really good food
we did auctions
we adjourned at 8:46
and the rumor of the week was: 'I regret nothing'
