A party jar was established

The minutes of meeting 1243 were accepted

The Treasurer reported that last week we took in $0.85 in the regular jar & $2.27 in the party jar

The Vice President said 'hi' and then reported that there are several new issues of the 'Drink Tank' out now and if you have any thoughts about Jay Lake send them to him at garcie@computerhistory.org

The President had nothing fannish to report

Dave C says he has copies of 'Readings from Lake Woo' for $50 [signed & numbered] or $25 [unsigned] - because he wants his basement back

The Party Committee is hoping to have a BASFA party at Convolution & there are newer new rules for FurCon parties

The Sports Committee is looking into doind a BASFA outing to the Giants versus the Dodgers, Friday, Sept 12 - view reserve seats in 307 for $33/each

Ken announced that he is now a published app developer - applescrumper

JC announced that Nervana podcast, episode 27, part 3 is out now and announced that on Wednesday, episode 28, part 1 will be out and contains many naughty words and announced that he sold half of his art at Fanime

Lisa announced that Jay Lake had passed on & suggests taking self-pictures wearing wild shirts and posting them as [hashtag] jaycon

Dave C announced that tomorrow is a day to vote

Beth announced that on Thursday, at 9am they will become parents of a high school student

Chris announced that the latest 'Drink Tank' will come out next week and he needs art for it badly & that the next issue of 'Journey Planet' will be about Dr Who

Tom announced that the newest issue of 'SFinSF' is out now and it has BASFA minutes in it

Dave G announced that there was a new scandal out of Wiscon about a former Tor editor allowed into the con - and Dave C asked if 'his initials were James Frenkel' and got a nod

Howeird announced that a friend of his did well with model rocketry in Washington DC

Stan said 'hi' and we said 'hi' back
