The minutes of meeting 1259 were approved as 'vlurbph?'
The Treasurer reported that last week we took in $1.94 in the regular jar & $2.98 in the party jar
The Vice President reported there was a new 'Drink Tank' out with a Mo cover
The President had nothing fannish to report
Announcements:
Ken announced that the next Legion of Rasselon meeting will be at the IHOP on Steven's Creek near Lawrence, 7:30 pm & that KFJC, 89.7 FM will have live coverage of English radio, the Liverpool Psych Fest Friday & Saturday, 6am to 6pm
JC announced that Nervana podcast will be at Convolution, noon till 2pm, and that he'll be on some panels there
Chris announced that this weekend is Convolution & that he'll host a film festival there, Saturday 4pm & will be on panels there AND be doing a signing on Friday afternoon & announced that he is looking for movie reviews of sf films and monster movies from the 30's to the 70's, deadline Oct 19, send them to garcia@computerhistory.org
Bradford announced that Silver Age comic material did not go down in value this last year
Fred announced that there will be a Latino comic expo Oct 11-12 at SJ state campus at the King Library
Dave C announced that SFinSF will have a do on Thursday, Sept 25 at the Hyatt Regency SFO. with readings and signings, free for Convolution members & $10 otherwise & announced that Phil Davis & Margaret Mannatt will not be at Convolution & announced that an Escapist Comic shop rumor about Xmen

Chris reviewed 'The Man Who Laughs' - a silent film with Conrad Veidt as it had incredible acting, worth full price & reviewed the 'Boxing Cats' from 1894 as the 1st cat video & demands we all see it & then reviewed a kale dish as the best thing he has ever tasted ... obviously delirious at the time
JC reviewed the TV 'Flash' as promising and he wants to see more of the shows
Dave C reviewed 'The Apocalypse Codex' by Charlie Stross, a Laundry book, as entertaining & a fun book
Bradford reviewed 'Guardians of the Galaxy' as he enjoyed it
Howeird reviewed 'House and Garden', a play by Alan Acorn as one play done in 2 theatres, as superbly acted & being performed at the Fair Avenue Theatre
[evil] Kevin reviewed 'Rare Exports', a Finnish film, as creepy and rye and hysterically funny - and subtitled, available on Xfinity & reviewed the newly revamped Gay Rodeo in Guernsville as pleasant, with comfortable temperatures and well-received by the local community & worth full price

and the rumor of the week was: 'There is a conspiracy to mispell the subtitles of our lives'
