Began at 8pm - with hangers
20 people attended

A party jar motion failed

The minutes of meeting 1262 were accepted as 'proxied well'

there was no Treasurer report

There was no vice president report - but he 'was here and buggered off'

The President had nothing fannish to report

Announcements:
Tom announced that Potlatch is coming up in Seattle, Feb 6,7,8 2015 & their 'Book of Honor' is 'Women Destroy Science Fiction' & Lightspeed magazine has a good chunk of the book online

Fred announced that Harlan Ellison is in hospital with a stroke, but can talk, which is good news

Dave C announced that the news media has discovered 'gamer-gate'

Brad announced that this weekend, oct 18-19 is SuperSacCon in Sacramento at the Scottish Rites Center

JC announced that Nerdvana Podcast episode 33, part 3 will be available Wednesday

Diana reviewed seasons 1,2,3 of 'Warehouse 13', seen on Netflix, as fun to watch

Adrienne reviewed the current season of 'Dr Who' as interesting; reviewed a 'Resurrection' marathon as she recommends it & reviewed a documentary done by Shatner as recommended

Brad reviewed 'Red Planet Mars' from 1952 as perfect Cold War screed & reviewed 'Dracula, the untold Story' as derivitive & reviewed the season 5 priemere episode of 'Walking Dead' as very good zombie stuff

Dave C reviewed 'Dark Harvest' by Norman Partridge as set in 1963 & written in dark noir style & reviewed Ransome Riggs

'Miss Perigrin's Home for Peculiar Children' - with photos - as okay

Tom reviewed 'Exo' by Stephen Gould, the 4th in a series, as an okay series, but 'Exo' is the reason to read the others in series & is extremely enjoyable & also reviewed a short story collection by Martha Wells ' Tales of the Raksura' as so damn good.

JC reviewed their trip as good & reviewed 'Equalizer' as entertaining, but formulaic
