Began at 8 pm - with dinner interruptus

We established a secret [Marina] jar
The minutes of meeting 1278 were accepted as 'not just for the internet'
The Treasurer reported that last week we took in $5.75 in the regular jar and $15.41 in the [secret] jar
The Vice President gave a proxy [text] report = 'hello! New Drink Tickets out if you 400 and 399' - plus Chuck is his hero and he likes pie
The President had nothing fannish to report
There will be Hugo nomination ideas after the regular meeting
The Sports Committee reported there are still 6 tickets available for the BASFA outing to the Giants/Marlins game, May 8 at 7:15pm; the ticket cost is $23 for view reserve seats in section 319
Party Committee reported that there was a successful FC party & the next party will be in April at Babcon & it is unlikely that there will be a Baycon party

Dave C announced that Dame Edna will be in SF with her Glorious Goodbye tour in March 17-27 at the Orpheum & announced that 'Atlas Shrugged part 3' is available now, direct to video
Ric announced that Borderlands is closing because of economic reasons & announced that episode 384 of Fanboy Planet is out & announced that episode 362 has an interview with the director of the 'Batkid' documentary
JC announced that Nerdvana Podcast episode 47, part 4 'from-the-future' will be out on Wednesday
Dara announced that new books are coming out
Aatheus announced that a radio drama - 'Welcome to Nightvale' will be at Tuesday, April 21 at Fox Theatre as part of their tour
Jon announced that he is still couch surfing & looking for a place
[evil] Kevin announced that the theme of the Gallifrey ball is 'Evening on the Orient Express'

Barbara reviewed 'Earth versus Asteroid' - a Skiffy film as not that bad
Adrienne reviewed 'the Grand Budapest Hotel', as recommended and goofy & reviewed 'The Judge' as she enjoyed it & she enjoyed
'Box Trolls' & thought 'Gone Girls' was creepy
JC proxied a review from Chris as 'Jamba Juice is wonderful'
Ric reviewed a trailer for the 'Fantastic 4' as the movie looks like it'll be a fantastic train wreck & JC thought it looked interesting; then Ric reviewed the Superbowl game as the last 5 minutes has 2 of the best 'WTF' moments of any Superbowl he's ever seen
Aatheus reviewed 'Animaniacs Live' as good & worth paying SF parking prices for
Valerie reviewed the Portland Comic Con as very corporate & it had cute fans & she had 2 zombie minions, but sales were 'meh' & the ATMs didn't work on Saturday
Dave C reviewed a book = 'Aberswyth Bon Amour' by Malcolm Pryce as an alternate reality story & worth reading
we birthday auctioned off Beth for $6 to JC
we adjourned at 9 pm - to do Hugo recommendations
