Began 8 pm with railings against the patriarchy

The minutes of meeting 1297 were accepted as 'hashtag sleeping on the couch'
The Treasurer was absent, thus no report
The Vice President reported that the Treasurer has his [Ken's] hat
The President had nothing fannish to report
Announcements:
JC announced that Nerdvana Podcast episode 40, part 3, will be out Wednesday-ish
John O announced that he & Chris will not be at Westercon due to health issues & scheduling, so go and have fun for them
Howeird announced that he was here with us due to 'Choreo-aggrivation' with Iolanthe, but the production looks promising, for more details check www.lyrictheatre.org/
Beth announced that Katilyn is doing babysitting, check out http://kaitysitter.weebly.com/
Dave C announced that the Disney HD channel will be showing Dr Who, season 2 & announced that Jeb Bush is now an official candidate as 'Jeb!' & announced that since it was June the May Cargo Cult catalog is out now
Gerry announced that his new publisher has finished proofs of his new book, 'Prelude to Stars' & it should be out by Worldcon
Brad announced that he has his Sasquan schedule & he will be on 3 panels & moderating the 'Medieval Science & Engineering' panel, then [evil] Kevin followed that as part of his 13 hours of Masquerade prep 'please print legibly'
Chris O announced that she had her 1st chemo treatment today & is here and feels fine today

Gail reviewed Berlioz's 'The Trojans' as running 5 hours with intermissions as including some steampunk and was engaging & reviewed the dress rehearsal of '2 Women' at the SF Opera as very good
Gerry reviewed 'Camp Town', a writer's retreat at Mount hood as very productive for him & well run & reviewed Highway 5 as 'it's possible to go from Portland and get back in time for a BASFA meeting in 1 day'
John O reviewed the 'Vegan Black Chef' as cooking with death metal music & his style is very interesting & reviewed the
charity fundraiser that Cirque de Solei is running as repetitious with too much aerial work & reviewed 'Jurassic World' as dinosaurs eating people after the 'we built them, what can go wrong' concept & there were lots of folks who follow'd on and tried not to give spoilers
Beth reviewed the Tony Awards showcase as absolutely amazing
Mo reviewed books - the 'Three Body Problem' as intricate & recommended & will get her Hugo vote & 'Border' by Marina Fitch as entertaining magic realism
Dave C reviewed the book 'Yellowstone Kelly' by Peter Bowen as a mountain man kind of book & worth used bookstore price
[evil] Kevin reviewed Pride Rock at the Oasis in SF that Pepperspray was wonderful and there wasn't a clunker in any of the shows and they've done a good remodel of the space; also check http://www.pepperspraytheband.com/
Howeird reviewed 'As you Wish' by Cary Elwes, the book of making 'Princess Bride' as a very charming book, easy to read
Joanie reviewed going home as Michigan is beautiful is lovely this time of year and nice if you are indoors when it rains & that camping is best done with 2 good knees
