held at Coco's, 1206 Oakmead Parkway (Lawrence Expressway/101 Fwy), Sunnyvale
Began 8 pm with tales of parrot flogging
18 people attended
We established a party jar
The minutes of meeting 1305 were accepted as '3rd person view'
The Treasurer was not there, but the proxy report is that last week we took in $8.25 in the regular jar & $9.00 in the party jar
The Vice President reported that the funny thing happened, but he has not yet heard back
The President had nothing fannish to report, but did say 'hi' to Warren, here for the first time
The Outing Committee made an event of Andy's birthday - they sang & there was laughter
Announcements:
Adrienne announced Sasquan rumors
Bill announced that site selection for Worldcon 2017 is open until 11:59 pm, Aug 10
Rick announced that Sense8 has been renewed
[evil] Kevin announced that the secret project has been completed
Ken announced that the next Psychotronic Film Festival will be on Saturday, August 29 at Foothill College, room 5015, 7pm
Gerry announced that he [G David Nordley] and C. Sanford-Lowe will give a short talk about The 'Black Hole Project' on Saturday, Aug 22, noon-3pm at the Los Gatos Library

I reviewed SciFi channel movies in general as 'traumas inducing' & there were comments
Fred reviewed the Tiptree award ceremony for Jo Walton as interesting
Dave C reviewed an Adult Swim show, 'Rick & Morty' as awesome & a crazed mad science show on sunday nights. worth full price & reviewed 'Mission Impossible, Rogue Nation' as fun to watch & Simon Pegg is in it & worth non-regretted full price & Bill followed, mentioning that the movie used real stunts and not CGI
Adrienne saw 'Pixels' with Mo & said it's 'not as bad as people say' - while Mo enjoyed it thouroughly, but worth matinee; then Adrienne reviewed 'Mr Holmes' as different & worth matinee
Mo then reviewed the new DMV office on Center Road in San Jose as really fast & practically empty
We did auctions, but did not auction off Andy
we adjourned at 8:54
and the rumor of the week was: 'Our rumors strike fear into hearts around the world'
