The minutes of meeting 1386 were accepted as 'late because of Tom Foolery'
The Treasurer reported that at meeting 1385 we took in $16.25 in the regular jar & $12.75 in the party jar & at meeting 1386 we took in nothing
The Vice President had nothing fannish to report
The President had nothing fannish to report
The Sports Committee reports that the SJ Giants Star Wars day is Saturday, May 20 - $39 for the Martinelli deck & 25 are needed to do this - contact basfa@p4tt.com

JC announced that there will be Nerdvana Podcast episodes released this week & announced that they will be a guest at Convolution this year
Dave C announced that 'Suicide Squad' won an Oscar for makeup
Gerry announced that Space X has announced they will do a lunar circumnavigation sometime in the next 2 years
Adrienne announced that there are plans to have a Sherlock con at the LAX Marriott on memorial Day weekend
Yochanan announced that Bill Paxton died
Reviews:
Bill reviewed Pantheacon as enjoyable & reviewed Stitches West as they bought way too much yarn [this caused SO many puns to be said] & Lisa said she really enjoyed the keynote speaker
JC reviewed enjoying the heck out of Disneyland; they recommended buying the season pass and stayed across the street [saving money] & says February in the rain is a great time to visit the park
the secretary reviewed seeing the 'Great Wall' as a gorgeous movie & way better than expected - a glorious monster movie and worth seeing twice
Adrienne reviewed going to a showing of 5 of the Oscar nominated movies as worthwhile, recommended 'Hacksaw Ridge' and really liked the Oscars - and Mo also enjoyed the showings & recommends 'Moonlight'
Brad reviewed Jo Walton's book 'Necessity' and recommended it
