Called to order at 8 pm

we established a party jar
The minutes of meeting 1482 were accepted as 'that was so last year'
the Treasurer reported that we took in $4.35 in the regular jar & $13.25 in the party jar at the Dec 17 meeting
the VP had nothing fannish to report
the President had nothing fannish to report
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Adrienne announced that one of her co-workers died and recommends going to the doctor if you feel unwell & announced that she has a ticket to Gallifrey that she needs to sell
Ken pointed out that with Harry's Hofbrau closing that we have out-lasted another place
Lisa announced that W Morgan Sheppard died and he was a nice guy
[little] Harold announced that Zeldathon Respawned ended & raised more than $161,000
Alex announced that Martin Rees, the Astronomer Royal will be at the Oshman Family Center in Palo Alto, next Tuesday. Jan 15 at 7pm & tickets are required
John O announced that CostumeCon 39 in San Jose will be April 2021 & Radar is looking for volunteers
Gerry announced that SpaceX for 2019 will have a tech talk April 18-21 in Fremont
Bob announced that this Friday, Jan 11, the Flint Center in Cupertino will be showing 'Star Trek 2, Wrath of Khan' & William Shatner will be live there
Dave C announced that the Chapel in SF will have the Red Room Orchestra playing the music from Twin Peaks on Friday & music from the Big Lebowsky on Saturday
