REVIEWS:
Ken reviewed seeing a stage performance of 'Harry Potter & the Cursed Child' - seeing both parts, each in their own theatre - as a magical experience, it's totally worth & the stage magic wowed them [various comments made]; & also reviewed the physics show at Foothill College as designed for school kids but lots of fun & full of useful knowledge - highly recommended - & that lot #1 has free parking, but otherwise parting is $3.00
Bill reviewed 'Knives Out' as hearkening back to Agatha Christie mysteries of the past, well done, enjoyable & recommended & reviewed 'Rise of Skywalker' as better than 'Last Jedi' & reviewed air travel through Christmas & New Years as an adventure
Gerry reviewed 'Rise of Skywalker' as he liked it better than he thought he would & liked that John Williams played a bartender in the movie, Carole pointed out a continuity error & Gayle thought it was a bit choppy [other comments made as well]
Neil also reviewed 'Knives Out' as he enjoyed it a lot & also reviewed seeing 'Rise of Skywalker' after seeing a Youtube of the Easter eggs in it as more enjoyable & reviewed all 4 seasons of 'The Expanse' as very good, liking it all with the opinion that season 3 was the best
Valerie reviewed the new season of 'Dr Who' as it seems like there's too much going on in it & Lisa commented that she liked how the show was handling historical figures & then Valerie reviewed 'The Mandalorian' season as very good, old-fashioned 'Star Wars'
we did auctions
we adjourned at 9:04
Rumor of the week was 'Try Hufflepuffs, the Harry Potter breakfast cereal, from Kelloggs'
[Post meeting report - the secretary has a sore throat & will likely not be at the Jan 13 meeting.]
