Called to order at 8:08pm

The minutes of meeting 1548 were accepted as 'unread'
the Treasurer reported that last week we took in $0
Our regular total is $15,631.83; party total is $230.58
[still investigating opening a Paypal account]
the VP had nothing fannish to report
the President had nothing fannish to report
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Fred announced that everyone should stay muted when not talking due to echoing
Howeird announced that Nevada has reopened many of their businesses -some with extra wrappers- & announced that he has a cardiac test tomorrow
Lisa announced that she is testing her tablet [and her voice sounds MUCH better]
Gayle had a question that was answered, then announced that she may have surgery soon
REVIEWS:
Howeird reviewed a show on TLC called '90 Days Fiance' as more drama per square inch than any other show & that it reinforces the idea that US citizens are woefully ignorant
Gayle reviewed spending a lot of her time following the various daily free streamings from the Met Opera as quite entertaining & recommends metopera.org & she also reviewed her physical therapy session as interesting
Nathan reviewed our meeting as 'very odd'
Various online conventions were discussed & the ways they are adapting to the times
Gerald reviewed the differences between Norway & Sweden in their different experiments on dealing with Covid-19 as Norway is showing much success with isolation, while herd immunity is not working for Sweden
we adjourned at 8:32 pm
Rumor of the week was = “The Norwegians are living at an embarrassing rate”
