The minutes of meeting 1614 were accepted as 'post facto'
the proxy Treasurer report is that the treasury is status quo & we have money =
regular total is now $15,716.52; the party jar total is $230.58
money can be sent to salve guilt via Paypal - sent to = dwgallaher@gmail.com
the VP had nothing fannish to report
the President had nothing fannish to report
The 'Getting back to Live Meetings & Relocation Committee' reported that he has some statistics to report but no firm conclusions yet
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Howeird announced that he starts his new job tomorrow to pick up equipment for streaming media
Gerry announced that the planet Saturn is just past opposition - high in the sky & best placed for observations right now
Yochanan announced that 'Star Trek Below' Decks is back for season 2 on Paramon streaming for an episode a week
Trey announced that we have a new car
Rick announced that there is an election coming up and & Ken said to remember to vote both parts of the ballot
REVIEWS:
Howeird reviewed going to the Las Vegas Star Trek convention as he went for 2 days & thought their huge monitors had excellent camera work & what parts of the con he saw were fairly good - George Takei was there & was entertaining - and that Shatner was there in-person & spoke energetically for 2 hours, despite being 90. Howeird found the dealer's room to be enormous. He saw Spring & Dave there & opines that Spring looked great. Overall he thought the con was worth half the price he paid
Alan reviewed the 1st volume of 'Usagi Yojimbo' by Stan Sakai as it was everything he expected and it somehow worked
Yochanan reviewed the 1st ep of season 2 of 'ST Lower Decks' as it was okay & mildly funny; he then reviewed 'Hannah' as he has enjoyed both seasons 1 & 2 & hopes there is a 3rd season, gives it 2 thumbs up and he loves it; then he reviewed the 1st episode of 'Future Man' as it had the worst writing & special fx that he has ever seen & this was with name actors performing the roles - not a good show
The secretary reviewed buying a new car as 'the process moved me'
Lisa reviewed Rick Moen's weekend party as very relaxed & vax cards were checked; it was held outside, the food was excellent & she loved it
we adjourned at 8:41 pm
and the rumor of the week = 'The Big Blue Room is used for new car storage'
