Reviews
Rick: "Moon Kight", the current MCU TV series on Disney+, has F. Murray Abraham for sharp sarcasm, excellent acting, superb music, and is recommended.
Yohanan: Love it as well. Great set design. Very cinematic. A little bizarre.
Howierd: Picard. Latest episode takes place in Picard’s head, confronting people from his past. Getting darker.
Lisa: Saw the latest Doctor Who special. BBC America west coast feed didn’t get it live as the east coast got it. Seen it twice now, looking forward to seeing it again. A serviceable episode, not great.
Yochanan: Snowpiercer season two is now available on HBOMax. Really like it. Sean Bean is in season two (plays a horrible person). There is a potential for more (but doesn’t require it).
Sandra: Watched season one, but it was meh. Picked up steam for season two. Reccommend.
Lisa: Shows originally on TNT, where they just finished season three, and season four is in production.
Lord Conrad's Lady (Adventures of Conrad Stargard, Book 5) by Leo Frankowski. Liked the first couple novels. Didn’t like this as much as he’d hoped. Too technical, tedious and repetitive.
Rick: It’s a Marty Stue, saving Poland and definitely not a feminist.
Robyn: The finished the story with book 3 or 4, and then repeated from different characters. (Women are written as an alien species that really really like to have sex.)
Howierd: Commented on spinning (because Robyn was doing it on Zoom). There may have been a pun involved.
Sandra: Station Eleven (HBOMax, 10 episodes) Best thing this year. Post apocalyptic world from a pandemic, with positive spin. Based on the book by Emily St John Mandel

Gayle: Cycling through Star Trek episodes (on Heroes & Icons) Last night was Assignment Earth. Didn’t remember it. Was impressed with the effects. Breathtaking. Terry Garr is really funny.
Gerald: It’s a bit like they dropped the Star Trek crew into a Bond movie.
Rumor of the Week: Twitter is going to buy Tesla
