The minutes of meeting 1745 were accepted as 'delivered just in time'
proxy treasurer report is we have money: Regular: $15,805.32; Party: $230.58

the VP had nothing fannish to report
the President had nothing fannish to report
The Sports Committee discussed potential SJ Giants fandom-related dates, [only one of which is on a Saturday - May the 4th, Star Wars night [$78 for the party patio]]
However, there are other Saturday SJGiants games he suggests may have potential:
Sat 4/6 Salute to the Military presented by OCC [Gigante Military Bobblehead Giveaway]
Sat 4/20 Día De Los Churros [Headband Giveaway]
Sat 5/11 SF Giants Patrick Bailey Bobblehead
Sat 6/15 Beer Batter Weekend
Sat 7/13 (a second) Marvel's Super Hero Night [Captain America Bobblehead Giveaway]
Sat 7/27 Día De Los Churros [Churro Paint Your Own Bobblehead]

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Ken announced that Chris Garcia was on his station today talking about Cinequest [& mentioned SirCumference during the broadcast] & KFJC.org will have the show in its archives
Robin announced something about the Festival of the Living Rooms - ask her for details
Gayle announced that she was highly impressed by their plumber
Craig announced that there will be a whiskey tasting tour at WorldCon this year in Glasgow

Gerry announced that he & Gayle will be attending MarsCon this week & will likely miss the next BASFA meeting
REVIEWS:
Rick reviewed the Halo series & finds it atmospheric & good dystopian future military sf. Halo is from Paramount+ & season 2 is ongoing. He finds it significantly better than season 1, which in turn was way better than you had any right to expect for a TV series made from a game franchise.
Yochanan reviewed 'The Walking Dead' as it has a lot of episodes & he has seen most of it now & he likes it, but does not love it. He recognizes a lot of the actors as having been in other sf shows
we adjourned at 8:34pm
