Reviews:
Yochanan reviewed 'The Line Between' by Peter S Beagle, as a collection of 12 stories. He found them to be really marvelous. He loved the collection very much & highly recommends it

and Yochanan reviewed a TV show called 'The Terror'. He saw season 1 on Netflix & season 2 on Amazon Prime & AMC. Season 1 is supernatural historical horror based on a fictionalized account of the Franklin expedition to find the Northwest Passage, while season 2 gives a supernatural/horror twist to the WWII internment of Japanese-American citizens. He highly recommends & loves both seasons. There was some discussion about the history both were based on

and Yochanan reviewed 'Ultraman Rising' seen on Netflix. It is animated decently, but he found it a mishmash of silly and serious bits thrown together. He found it amusing and heart-warming but not really a classic
see = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultraman:_Rising
Geri reviewed seeing the stage production of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' performed by the Palo Alto Players at the Lucie Stern Theater. The production will be running through September 22. There were some good reveals and she found it interesting, especially since the main lead has been performed by the understudy from the beginning. There was much discussion of how truly good the PA Players are.

Rick reviewed 'The Mercy of Gods' by James S.A. Corey, as a real banger with several plot threads that begin understated and progress from there. It really left him impatiently wanting to read the next volume NOW. Craig followed, saying that he met the authors at BayCon & really liked them

Trey reviewed 'Steve', seen on Apple TV, as a 2-part bio-documentary of Steve Martin. He found it extremely well-crafted & thoughtful. Trey enjoyed it a lot, says it is worth seeking out & recommends it. There was some discussion to the topic
