Proxy Treasurer's report = Regular: $15,805.32

Yochanan: Silicon Valley Shakespeare: Free Shakes in the Park (Bramhall Park, Willow Glen) June 6-22 (F, S/S) 7pm The Tempest. In July/August they will be doing a mostly female/non-traditional gendered cast of Richard III in San born Park, Saratoga. svshakespeare.org
Gerald: They will probably miss the next two meetings. Going to Eurocon. 2025.ieee-eurocon.org
Ken: A big movie announcement came out last week. Mel Brooks has listened to the fans, but has decided to make a second Spaceballs movie – due out in 2027. Rick Moranis is coming out of retirement to don the Dark Helmet. The Schwartz Awakens! spaceballs.fandom.com/wiki/Spaceballs_2

Yochanan: The Tempest (SVShakes) Amazing. Framed as a D&D campaign. Some gender play. Great costumes. Funding cuts made them drop the Thursday show. Free to get in, but it could cost you to get out… svshakespeare.org
and he reviewed = Daredevil (not Born Again) (D+) Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Really enjoyed. 13 episodes x 3 seasons. Very interesting. Recommend. Muddles through season two, but worth it for season three. Best if before Daredevil Born Again. Strong plot, but character driven. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daredevil_(TV_series)
and he reviewed = Time: A Traveller’s Guide by Clifford A Pickover (an actual scientist). Short science-fiction stories, prefaced by a quote and Chopin music. Lots of science explaining time-travel, as a scientist is traveling back to see Chopin with his student. A bit dense, scientific.
