Reviews:

Rick reviewed 'Murderbot' on Apple TV as worthy, comedic, passive aggressive and that he is enjoying the adaptation. He says they have managed to achieve the spirit of the first novella & he is onboard for it. Mark followed, saying he also really likes the show.

and Rick also reviewed that the end for 'Andor, season 2' was about as good as you could possibly hope for, with parts that are absolutely brilliant & some of the acting being perfect - even considering how they had to fit into the events of 'Rogue one' & the Star Wars movies. He is very happy with this & wants to see it again. Yochanan 'loved it, loved it, LOVED IT' & also recommends that you go view all 3 of the 'behind the scenes' extras. He says this is his favorite Star Wars, hands down

and Rick reviewed 'A Conventional Boy', a Laundry novel by Charles Stross, as he enjoyed it quite a lot & finds it delightful. It fits into the series perfectly & he recommends it highly

Yochanan reviewed a movie on Netflix called 'Awake' as not that great, with scientists presented as buffoons & overall it was very disappointing with bad writing

Ken reviewed the latest episode of Doctor Who - shown on BBC iPlayer, BBC One, and Disney+ - as fun & the 2 episodes should be interesting He reported that the Eurovision lead into the episode was amusing, presented as 'bad things are afoot at The Interstellar Song Contest'. Yochanan followed, saying that he enjoyed both

and Ken reviewed 'Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose', (2023) as an interesting film based on the true story of a paranormal skeptic visiting a farm on the Isle of Man to meet a talking mongoose named Gef. It stars Simon Pegg, Minnie Driver and Christopher Lloyd. We streamed it free on Prime, but I wouldn’t have been unhappy to pay for it.
