and he announced that: "Speaking of Doctor Who, two episodes of the epic Dalek’s Masterplan were returned over a week ago, bringing the total to five of the 12 episodes now in the archive. The recovery was facilitated by Film Is Fabulous, which reaches out to film collectors to catalogue their collections, and to rescue them from being binned by working with estates of film collectors – with the byproduct of reuniting content with the original copyright holders so that they may get a new lease of life. The newly recovered Doctor Who episodes are scheduled to be released on BBC iPlayer on April 4th."
and he announced that ST Star Fleet Academy has been cancelled after the 2nd season which will - allegedly - still be run
and he announced that the Cinequest online line-up should be available online tomorrow

Reviews:
Yochanan reviewed the WAZE ST Doctor as a verbal guide that is really fun and acerbic and worth matinee
see = https://www.waze.com/apps
Yochanan also reviewed 'The Bride!' as 2 hours & 7 minutes - a gothic romance horror film as overall very striking but occasionally clunky & that there is a call-back to 'Young Frankenstein's 'Putting on the Ritz' number & he liked it, thinking it is worth high matinee
see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt30851137/
Yochanan also reviewed 'Dark Matter' on Apple TV as he really enjoyed it, finding it engrossing - with a slow start & a complete story. The writer of the 2016 book made the TV adaptation & it has great writing about different universes. He 'loved it, loved it, loved it! Highly recommended
see = https://tv.apple.com/us/show/dark-matter/umc.cmc.4luj45vtqpmjsvb6sc2675oeg
Rick reviewed going down the rabbit hole on the making of 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' & the wild details of the production, massive budget costs, the writing and re-writing of the script, how many of the songs are earworms & many bits of trivia - and that at -over 100- Dick van Dyke is still dancing
follow-ons = for another take on weird cars - see the 1965 movie 'The Great Race' & Duncan says that the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car reminds him of a car called the Minera & that his personal experiences with Dick can Dyke are 'memorable' but if you live that long you're doing something right. Duncan urges everyone to do your medical panels & reminds that doctors are not there to help the quality of life. Duncan recommends seeing what the mini coopers from "The Italian Job" could do (the real ones, not modern BMW copies) doing tricks you'd only expect of your cat or dog. Hacking the traffic control system in 1969 makes it all possible

Lisa reviewed the final episode of 'Star Fleet Academy' as 'they did a good job of tying up ALL of the loose ends that the season started with' and the kids showed so much character advancement from the beginning & she can't wait to see the 2nd season. There were affirming follow-ons & Yochanan says you need to watch the final credits which are handled 'year-book style'. Steven Colbert was the 'voice who made the announcements' in the show.
